Our ‘Wellbeing Leaders’ have been fully trained in supporting children with their mental health. The children took part in a Go Well Course that supports the positive powers of physical activity and mental wellbeing techniques to support children to be ready to learn and succeed in life.
With the help of Mrs Musgrave, the children run a support group in school on a weekly basis. The club runs one lunch time a week to support all children in school with their mental health and wellbeing. The children will be running a range of activities such as mindfulness, playground games, nature activities etc. Please encourage your children to use the group!
Within our ‘Wellbeing Leaders’ we have children who are designated to the role of Anti-Bullying. The children have been fully trained in mediation and friendship. They are on duty during break times to help any children who have had disagreements with their friends. Our leaders take their role very seriously and will always help out even if they are off duty! The leaders are involved in assemblies and talk with classes to educate children about the importance of speaking out if you need support around bullying.
