A team of Year 6 pupils will be representing the school in an event at Auckland Castle.

This event is usually secondary school based but this year there is to be a primary element.

The event is based around developing enterprise skills.

Class 5 have already had a taster of the session when some vistors came into school to help them develop their ideas around product design, manufacture and marketing.

Class 5 have been working with Groundwork to look at the development of the Pant on the village green.

The Parish Council are working with Groundwork to use the Pant as a Memorial to remember all the local people who faught in the two world wars.

A local historian came into school to help the children research some of the local people who died.

Mrs Jean Robinson and Mrs Joan Howard also came into school to share their local knowledge and experience with the class as they discussed their ideas about life during the Second World War.
