Awards

The school has been successful in the first stage of the International Schools Award and has received notification to say that we are at the Foundation Level. This is the first set on a long journey towards the full ISA award which we hope to eventually achieve by developing our links with our partner schools abroad. We currently have well established links in France and have just begun a new link with Tanzania.

The school has been working hard towards a new award. This award is called the Financial Management Standard in Schools and relates to the schools finance and governance procedures. We have been submitted for the award in February and are awaiting details of the result. Watch this space.

The school was awarded the Investors in Children award in 2008. This is awarded to schools who show that they not only give children the opportunity to express their views about many aspects of the school but that they also listen and then respond to their ideas or concerns. We are very proud that our children at Copeland Road have been awarded this fantastic achievement.
